Dr. Kofi Abrampah, PharmD, BCGP, BCMTMS, SIDP-CASP, APh, is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Geriatric Medicine, Medication Therapy Management, and Antimicrobial Stewardship with more than 25 years of experience in clinical pharmacy practice. He provides comprehensive medication management services for older adults and leads antimicrobial stewardship initiatives aimed at optimizing antimicrobial use and improving patient outcomes.
Dr. Abrampah earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Rhode Island and is board certified in Geriatric Pharmacy and Medication Therapy Management. He is also a SIDP-Certified Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist and a Licensed Advanced Practice Pharmacist.
In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Abrampah serves as an affiliate preceptor and volunteer Associate Clinical Professor, mentoring pharmacy students and residents through experiential education, scholarly activities, and quality improvement projects. His professional interests include geriatric pharmacotherapy, antimicrobial stewardship, medication optimization, and interdisciplinary care models. Dr. Abrampah actively collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams under Collaborative Practice Agreements and welcomes opportunities for clinical, educational, and research collaboration to advance patient-centered care.
